The Lean Context Standard was created by Jay Jahns — a platform engineer who has been building and operating OpenStack private clouds since 2014, and has spent the last year integrating AI agents into infrastructure operations at scale.
The thesis was developed through structured review with three AI models (Claude, Gemini, GPT). Each model reviewed independently, provided feedback, and the author incorporated changes through multiple revision cycles. The process itself demonstrated the calibration loop the thesis describes.
The standard is open. The repository dogfoods the standard with its own CONSTITUTION.md, MANIFEST.md, and .context/ supply documents.
